As the calendar turns to 2020 and a new semester looms, this blog will emerge from dormancy to cover the 2020 presidential election! Dr. Collens will be taking a class of 20 students to Manchester, NH from January 11-18, 2020, where they will work for candidates and attend rallies and candidate events. Students are working for a variety of candidates, including Democrats Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, and Cory Booker; and Republicans Donald Trump and Bill Weld.

First up will be a series of blog posts written by Dr. Collens’s Fall 2019 course on American Political Development about how the 2020 candidates fit into the broader story of American political history.
